Morning Arms - Moon & Tide

Hey followers (all 8 of you)
And anyone else who may click through from my last.fm page
or who googled up in here by mistake
or, quite unbelievably, arrived by determined purpose

In Thailand at the moment, I met a travelling member of this band
She sang this song at the beach that she wrote with Eric who I also met

I won't forget that night

They live a few hours away in Sukhothai and it's probably real nice

Today her band released an EP

It's like TKAPB and MFDJC and warpaint and
GIAA gatecrashed a lovely party
with streamers and flashing, but not strobing,
lights and blue cups
and there was alcohol involved
and somehow all of them they made a love
baby that they dropped off at a swedish nursury
and forsome reason that baby grew up
and got the nickname Morning Arms

You could be forgiven for using the titles
post-rock, instrumental drone-glaze
in fact nobody really minds and you
can say what you like

There is atmosphere and fullness, which have always been my two favourite qualities of good music

The new EP is Moon & Tide. They have
it up for download on bandcamp for $1 but they
have this thing where if you share it,
and you want, they'll send it to you.

The previous EP is also pretty good.
That you can get for free.
